Steel Cut Apple Crisp

INGREDIENTS

For the filling:

  • 2-3 Apples, Sliced Thinly
  • Juice from Half of a Lemon
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp Flour

For the topping:

  • 1 cup Stoked Oats Steel Cut
  • 1/3 cup flour
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup Melted Coconut Oil (or Butter)
  • 2 tbsp Maple Syrup

PREPARATION

  1. Slice your apple into thin slices and fully combine with the remaining filling ingredients.
  2. To a medium bowl, mix the topping ingredients.
  3. Pour apple filling into a greased 9x9 square baking dish. Spread topping mixture evenly on top.
  4. Bake at 375F for 35-40 minutes until apples are bubbling and crisp is golden.
  5. Top with ice cream or yogurt and enjoy!
