
Steel Cut Apple Crisp
INGREDIENTS
For the filling:
- 2-3 Apples, Sliced Thinly
- Juice from Half of a Lemon
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tbsp Flour
For the topping:
- 1 cup Stoked Oats Steel Cut
- 1/3 cup flour
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/3 cup Melted Coconut Oil (or Butter)
- 2 tbsp Maple Syrup
PREPARATION
- Slice your apple into thin slices and fully combine with the remaining filling ingredients.
- To a medium bowl, mix the topping ingredients.
- Pour apple filling into a greased 9x9 square baking dish. Spread topping mixture evenly on top.
- Bake at 375F for 35-40 minutes until apples are bubbling and crisp is golden.
- Top with ice cream or yogurt and enjoy!
